Call for 2013 AAO-HNS Election Candidates

The Nominating Committee of the Academy is calling for recommendations of individuals to be considered for an AAO-HNS elective office. The Academy member(s) you recommend must be in good standing, someone whom you know to have leadership quality, is active in the Academy, is familiar with the strategic direction of the Academy, and can dedicate the necessary time to serve.  Please direct your email to any member of the Nominating Committee and include the nominee's full name, contact information (business and cell phone numbers, email address) along with a short paragraph as to why you believe this person to be qualified to serve in an AAO-HNS elected leadership role.

Nominating Committee Roster 

Nominee Criteria
Nominees must be in good standing and fall within one of the following membership categories to qualify:
•    Fellow, Life Fellow or Retired Fellow

Nominees must submit the following:

• Nominee Questionnaire and Instructions
• CV (3 page maximum; template provided)
• One-page biographical sketch (template provided)
• AAO-HNS Conflict of Interest/Disclosure Form
• Statement agreeing to adhere to all aspects of the AAO-HNS/F Code for Interactions with Companies
• Confidential Questionnaire which is modeled after hospital medical staff application forms
• AAO-HNS/F Strategic Plan (for reference)

•    President-Elect (1-Academic)
•    Director At Large (1-Academic; 1-Private Practice)
•    Audit Committee (1 position)
•    Nominating Committee (2-Academic; 2-Private Practice)
