Become a Centralized Otolaryngology Research Efforts (CORE) Study Section Reviewer of Research Grant Applications (Level 3, Level 4)
The CORE Study Section meets every March in Dallas, TX, to review approximately 150 research grant applications for the AAO-HNSF and its participating sub-specialty societies. The Study Section is made up of three subcommittees including Head & Neck, Otology, and General Otolaryngology (e.g., Rhinology, Facial Plastics). Reviewers are responsible for reviewing 6-9 NIH-style grant applications, providing written critiques for each, and participating in the in-person review. All expenses are covered by the AAO-HNSF or one of the participating sub-specialty societies. In an effort to train our young physicians, six positions are annually reserved for new residents. Interested members should submit a copy of their CV to ResearchQIDept@entnet.org.
