Show Your Support - Join the Millennium Society (Level 1)
The Foundation Board of Directors set up the Millennium Society as a community of Academy members who believe in the Foundation’s mission and provide generous support to help achieve the Foundation’s initiatives. You can attain Society membership by either making an annual gift of at least $1,000 or cumulative gifts throughout the year that equal $1,000 ($250 for residents and young physicians). As with all charitable gifts to the Foundation, your support advances the art, science, and ethical practice of our specialty. You can direct your contribution to specific areas such as research and quality, education, resident programs, and international and humanitarian outreach, or you can request our Board of Directors to apply your gift where the need is greatest.

Foundation endowment earnings supply stable, ongoing funding to sustain excellence in research, lifelong learning, humanitarian missions and aid, evidence-based medicine, international outreach, and advocacy—all vital to our mission. Every day, changes in the medical landscape call us to respond by creating new programs and knowledge for the specialty. But these advances can only be sustained in the long term with additional funding.
