UK Otolaryngology from an International Perspective
The UK is well positioned to play a pivotal role in International Otolaryngology. This relates to the historical role with the former and the new Commonwealth nations. The educational opportunities in the UK have been a magnet for many otolaryngologists from abroad who have received their specialty training in the UK.
Jointly Affiliated Meetings
These meetings strengthen relations between each International Corresponding Society and the AAO-HNS/F, in addition to addressing a wide variety of topics ranging from managed care to resident training; from ethics in 21st century otolaryngology to international certification; from Board certification to research and clinical trials.
World Voice Day
The World Voice Day has been recognized as a public education campaign and has received the support of the major national government authorities – Ministries of Health, Education and Culture.
