Thanks to our dedicated and supportive members, JSAC 2009, an event critical to the future and health of the specialty, saw over 450 attendees. At the 2009 conference, which was held March 22-24 at the Grand Hyatt Washington, Academy members and other surgeons from 17 partnering surgical societies had the opportunity to join their peers in a collaborative advocacy effort.
