| COOL Cases are interactive case studies in which the learner is presented with a medical scenario and guided through the evaluation and treatment options based on established medical practice. Although originally designed for the non-otolaryngologist physician and other health professionals seeking an understanding of commonly seen ENT complaints, increasingly, COOL has been used by residents and medical students. In addition to the interactivity of each case, cases may include learning enhancements, such as slides, photographs, audio clips and video segments. Continuing medical education credit is not awarded for the COOL Cases. Each case will take approximately 10-20 minutes to complete.
