AAO-HNSF Rande H. Lazar, MD Health Services Research Grant
Established in 2002, the AAO-HNSF Rande H. Lazar, MD Health Services Research Grant was endowed by Rande H. Lazar, MD to inspire investigation of health services and socioeconomic issues by young physicians. The grant represents the first time an individual in the AAO-HNS has provided this level of funding in support of a sustained effort to gather socioeconomic data for otolaryngology and promotes increased participation by otolaryngologists in the rapidly expanding area of health services research. The first $10,000 CORE grant was awarded this year. We look forward to the continuation of new research in this area for many years to come thanks to Dr. Lazar’s stellar display of philanthropy.
