Wire Transfer Instructions
Contact meetings@entnet.org for wire transfer instructions. All registration and housing payments and/or deposits must be in U.S. dollars amounts.

Passports and VISA's
For security reasons, there have been several changes over the last few years for entering the United States. The overall goal is to enhance security and facilitate legitimate travel to and from the United States. Visit the Transportation Security Administration website for specific information relating to:

  1. The Screening Experience
  2. TSA Travel Assistant
  3. Travelers with Disabilities and Medical Conditions
  4. Transporting Special Items
  5. Traveling with Children
  6. Travel Safe, Travel Secure
  7. Prohibited Items
  8. Traveler Identity Verification Program
  9. The Screening Process
Advance travel planning and early visa application are important, since visa applications are subject to a greater degree of scrutiny than in the past. Visit the U.S. Department of State travel website to learn more about the application process and average wait times.

UnitedStatesVisas.gov is an official source of information about U.S. visa policy and procedures. Use this site to learn about the visa application process, understand current requirements, and get updates on recent developments.

US-VISIT is part of a continuum of security measures that begins outside land borders, when a person applies for a visa to travel to the United States, and continues on through entry and exit at U.S. air and seaports and, eventually, at land border crossings.

The US-VISIT program enhances the security of U.S. citizens and visitors by verifying the identity of visitors with visas.

Air Transportation

San Diego International Airport (1-619-400-2400) As the busiest single-runway commercial Airport in the nation, San Diego International Airport sees some 600 flights arrive and depart each day. San Diego International Airport is served by 18 commercial airlines, bringing more than 18 million passengers through San Diego International Airport every year.

Ground Transportation

San Diego International Airport is conveniently located, approximately three & one half miles from the heart of the downtown area. A typical taxi fare from the airport to downtown would range from $10.00 to $12.00 dollars.

Shuttle vans and buses operated by off-airport companies are a popular and convenient transportation option. Several shuttle companies offer shared rides to and from Lindbergh Field and to areas of San Diego County. Shuttle service is available at the Transportation Plazas across from Terminals 1 and 2, and curbside at the Commuter Terminal.

The San Diego Trolley and the Coaster commuter train do not stop at the Airport. The only public transit available is the Flyer Route No. 992, a Metropolitan Transit System bus that travels between the Airport and downtown San Diego, stopping between Terminals 1 & 2 and the Commuter Terminal. The 10-minute bus service to and from downtown connects with Trolley, Coaster and Amtrak stations and is wheelchair accessible.

During the Annual Meeting & OTO EXPO, the Academy will provide shuttle transportation between most of the official AAO-HNSF hotels and San Diego Convention Center.

Special Assistance

All of the official AAO-HNSF hotels, as well as the San Diego Convention Center, comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. If you require special assistance, please call the AAO-HNSF Housing Center at 1-972-349-5970 or 1-866-212-0683.
