Truth in Advertising Survey Reveals Improved Awareness of Otolaryngology

A recent survey shows a heightened public awareness of the different education and training requirements for otolaryngologists and audiologists. The study conducted by the AMA's Scope of Practice Partnership, to which the AAO-HNS belongs, also found that patients strongly support a physician-led healthcare team and legislative "truth in advertising" initiatives.
