Education Faculties/Committees
Most Academy members are eligible for committee membership, and all others may be appointed as nonvoting consultants to the committees. If you have expertise in a particular field, and time to commit to serving as an author or faculty you are invited to apply. Visit our Education Committee Page to learn more!

Suggest a New Education Activity
The AAO-HNSF Education Committees are always interested in new topics for education activities. Complete this Education Activity Proposal Form to let us know what education topics will help you improve your practice.

Continuing Education Policies & Guidelines
The AAO-HNS Foundation works to advance the art, science, and ethical practice of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery through education, research, and lifelong learning. AAO-HNSF is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing education for physicians. The Foundation sponsors a number of education activities that offer AMA PRA Category 1 Credit.

AAO-HNSF supports members' need for continuing education credit through education activities we sponsor. The Foundation documents participation in these activities in the following manner:

Physicians: AAO-HNSF awards AMA PRA Category 1 Credit to physicians only and documents this credit in their membership records. A transcript of all credit awarded in the previous year is distributed to each physician participant by February of the following year.

Non-Physicians: AAO-HNSF supports non-physicians participating in our education activities. The Foundation provides a transcript of all credit awarded in the previous year to each non-physician participant by February of the following year.
