The John Q. Adams Center for the History of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery welcomes all researchers, regardless of membership to the Academy. The Adams Center is open Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but is closed during most federal holidays. Document Delivery
The Adams Center offers a limited document delivery service. Photocopies of articles from the Academy’s Bulletin, Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery or small sections of Academy produced or historical publications are available upon request. For members of the Academy, Adams Center staff can retrieve copies of journal articles or chapters relating to otolaryngology not found in the Adams Center for a fee. Research and Information Retrieval Services
Adams Center staff will search our library, archive and museum collections to help find the answer to your queries. Depending on the nature of query staff might also seek other sources within the Academy or other sources outside of the Adams Center. You may contact Adams Center staff directly regarding your research requests.

Please note that the Adams Center is not a medical library, nor does it have medical staff, and thus cannot interpret nor provide any medical advice to researchers.
