About the Cochrane Scholars Program
The Cochrane Colloquium brings together the world’s most influential health researchers, scientists, academics, opinion leaders, clinicians, and patients to promote evidence-informed decision-making.
The AAO-HNSF leadership and SAGE, publisher of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery and OTO Open, have identified a need to train otolaryngologists in the conduct of publication of systematic literature reviews. To address this need, AAO-HNSF and SAGE make grant opportunities available to help fund member attendance at the Cochrane Colloquium. Systematic reviews have a high citation impact and serve as the foundation for evidence-based practice guidelines, clinical performance measures, and maintenance of specialty certification.
The 2022 Colloquium will be held September 11-14 at the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto, Ontario. Following the Cochrane Colloquium will be the Guidelines International Network (GIN) Conference from September 21-24.
