CPT for ENT: Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potential (VEMP)

Q: What is the correct code to report for Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potential (VEMP) testing?

A: Currently, there is no specific CPT code to report Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potential (VEMP) testing. Therefore, the Academy, and CPT® Assistant coding guidance, recommends that providers report CPT 92700, Unlisted otorhinolaryngological service or procedure, when VEMP testing is performed.
