My goal for the section during my term would be to accurately represent the Academy’s Board of Governors at the Section for Residents and Fellows and facilitate sound and effective communication between the two, to best serve the members. My vision will be to listen to every member’s voice and make them heard by incorporating them into our vote on the Board of Governors and Society Engagement committee. I will attend the meetings and advocate for the voice of the Section for Residents and Fellows members. I will dedicate my time and efforts to serve the members to the best of my capabilities. I have served on many professional society boards throughout my time in undergraduate and medical school, and have gained organizational, leadership, and communication skills that will serve well in this role. In turn, I hope to utilize this experience to increase my involvement with the Section for Residents and Fellows.
