This hybrid symposium brings together leading experts, researchers, and practitioners in the field of oral tissue biobanking to foster a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, the development and dissemination of standards, and collaborative innovation.
Attendees will hear from keynote speakers and engage in roundtable discussions on best practices for biospecimen collection, processing, storage, and data management to ensure high-quality, reproducible research materials.
The event aims to facilitate the establishment of standardized protocols, promote interdisciplinary collaboration across institutions and countries, and showcase innovative technologies and methodologies shaping the future of oral tissue biorepositories. Through interactive sessions and networking opportunities, participants will share insights, overcome operational challenges, and build sustainable networks to accelerate translational research and improve clinical outcomes.
This symposium is a collective collaboration with Dr Jennifer Ahn-Jarvis and Silas Triller from the Quadram Institute; Prof John Phillips and Mr. Alfred Addison from the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital; and Associate Prof Steve Oghumu from the Ohio State University.
