About the ENT Advocacy Champion Award
The ENT Advocacy Champion Award recognizes an AAO-HNS/F member who most exemplifies the Academy’s dedication to advocacy on behalf of otolaryngology–head and neck surgery and the patients we serve. Presented annually during the BOG General Assembly, the award honors a member whose leadership, coalition-building, and measurable impact have advanced the Academy’s federal, state, or regulatory priorities; strengthened the otolaryngology voice; and elevated member engagement in civic and policy processes. Criteria considerations for nominees includes support for the ENT PAC, participation in meetings with state and federal legislators, involvement in grassroots advocacy programs (e.g., Project 535, State Trackers), and/or contributions to the Academy’s health policy programs.
