Baptist Medical and Dental Mission International (BMDMI) exists under the Lordship of Jesus Christ to evangelize the lost, disciple the saved, and minister to the needs of the poor. We accomplish this mission by serving thousands in oftentimes difficult to reach villages throughout Honduras, Nicaragua, and South Asia with of love of Jesus Christ.Many around the world lack the basic necessities of food, shelter, medical and dental care, and education. That’s where the work of BMDMI comes in to meet physical needs while presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the ultimate Healer.Our flagship ministry is Short-Term Mission Teams, which sends more than 100 teams across the world each year to meet physical and spiritual needs Our volunteers are making a significant difference in the lives of thousands of people each year – we would love for you to join us in this work! Short-Term Teams are made up of medical and dental professionals, pastors, and volunteers from all walks of life who partner with BMDMI Missionaries in the field to accomplish the work of the team.

About Centro Medico Clinic & Guaimaca Ministries

The Centro Medico de Especialidades (formerly known as the Hospital Bautista) is located in Guaimaca, Honduras and offers year-round clinical care while providing a wide variety of life-giving surgical procedures. The Center provides a medical clinic, emergency center, X-ray services, a fully stocked pharmacy, and a diagnostic laboratory. Working together, medical professionals from Honduras and North America provide excellent care and life-changing surgeries that help save lives or significantly improve the quality of life for many Hondurans. A newly constructed Surgical Wing allows for visiting North American medical professionals to perform a wide range of surgeries in a safe, state-of-the-art facility.The Centro Medico Clinic also serves as the center for BMDMI’s Guaimaca Ministries, which coordinates hundreds of volunteers to serve the surrounding communities through Gospel-centered programs and ministries – such as: water well ministries, feeding programs, evangelism ministry, and more!
