Clinical Practice Guidelines Partnerships and Collaborators

The American Academy of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery Foundation (AAO-HNSF) is proud to have joined with 16 other specialty groups—each of which released a list of “Five Things Physicians and Patients Should Question” on February 21, 2013.

ECRI Guidelines Trust is a web-based repository of evidence-based clinical practice guideline content providing members of the healthcare community with up-to-date clinical practices to advance safe and effective patient care. This centralized repository includes evidence-based guidance developed by nationally and internationally recognized medical organizations and medical specialty societies. Several AAO-HNSF Clinical Practice Guidelines can be found in the repository, where ECRI Guidelines Trust provides summaries and appraisals of the guidelines with their Guideline Briefs and TRUST Scorecards.

Guidelines International Network (GIN) is an international not-for-profit association of organizations and individuals involved in clinical practice guidelines. GIN seeks to improve the quality of health care by promoting systematic development of clinical practice guidelines and their application into practice, through supporting international collaboration. GIN’s Guideline Library contains regularly-updated information about guidelines of the GIN membership.

An international network of more than 28,000 dedicated people from over 100 countries. We work together to help healthcare providers, policy-makers, patients, their advocates and carers, make well-informed decisions about health care, by preparing, updating, and promoting the accessibility of Cochrane Reviews – over 5,000 so far, published online in the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, part of The Cochrane Library. We also prepare the largest collection of records of randomised controlled trials in the world, called CENTRAL, published as part of The Cochrane Library.
