More of our Scientific Orals were presented today, and the Posters are gearing up for the Meet the Scientific Poster Authors Showcase on Monday at noon. The faces behind the science are often some of our newest presenters, bringing them into the fold of our otolaryngology community.
“The future of our specialty [is] on display in the poster hall and across the scientific sessions,” said Daniel C. Chelius, Jr., MD, AAO-HNSF Annual Meeting Program Coordinator.
Dr. Chelius visited the Scientific Oral Presentations on Care Equity, Quality, and Safety today where presenters shared findings in studies focusing on equity, diversity, patient safety, and related topics. Their presentations were insightful and were able to teach to members of all career stages.
“I look forward to all the little moments—those little moments define the Annual Meeting for me: meeting a new resident in the poster hall and making a connection, hearing from someone about the ways the meeting has touched them or inspired them,” Dr. Chelius said.
The Scientific Posters are available to view in the OTO EXPO already, but if you want the full experience, visit the Meet the Scientific Poster Authors Showcase Monday, at noon. At that time, poster presenters will be there alongside their posters to answer questions and describe their research. It is the perfect time to meet the next generation of researchers. You will also be able to see the poster winners, chosen by members of the Annual Meeting Program Committee.
There are 17 Scientific Oral Presentation sessions happening throughout the day on Monday, so be sure to make time in your schedule for at least one, and join the exciting discussion of the latest research. Sessions feature five to 10 individual presentations, each lasting a few minutes, with time for questions. Sessions are organized by subspecialty or track, and be easily found on the Annual Meeting mobile app. Just search “Scientific Oral.”
