To help you get the most out of your first Annual Meeting, each day, we’ll provide you with a tip of the day and recommend some sessions and networking events to attend that day. Today’s tip of the day is simple: Plan Ahead.
If you haven’t already, go ahead and start mapping out your #OTOMTG24 game plan. This year’s program offers 525+ groundbreaking sessions, so now is the perfect time to explore the program and start creating your own schedule. Take 10-15 minutes each night to go over the next day’s schedule and figure out where you want to spend your time. You can do this easily via our mobile app, which will help you plan out your time in Miami and navigate the Annual Meeting as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Regardless of what category you fall under, everyone should make an effort to attend the Opening Ceremony and the Presidents’ Reception. The Opening Ceremony will kick off the Annual Meeting program at 8:00 am and features the John Conley, MD Lecture on Medical Ethics, speeches from Academy leaders, and new videos showcasing members, the specialty, and Academy initiatives. Meanwhile, the Presidents’ Reception is an unforgettable occasion affording attendees ample time to network and connect with colleagues from around the globe. The 2024 Presidents’ Reception will take place at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel at 7:00 pm.
