Ask the Experts

Large, but casual discussions, led by subject matter experts focused on clinical and professional topics.

One room offering continuous continuing medical education sessions optimizing your CME/MOC credit-earning potential.

ENT Pulse Presentation

Dynamic, 30-minute sessions that reflect the pulse of innovation in otolaryngology. Designed to highlight rapidly evolving topics, new discoveries, and areas of ongoing debate, these sessions are on the fast track to what’s next in otolaryngology.

Expert Lectures

Sessions led by recognized experts on current diagnostic approaches, therapeutic approaches, and practice management topics. These are high-impact sessions share clinical insights, evidence-based updates, and practice innovations. All Expert Lectures are scheduled in 50–60-minute session slots, based on availability and at the discretion of the AMPC.

Great Debates

Structured debates with prominent thought leaders on some of the specialty’s most contentious issues.

International Symposium

The International Symposiums feature cutting-edge content presented by physicians and researchers based outside the United States, offering a truly global perspective on key topics in otolaryngology. These sessions highlight international experiences, innovations, and collaborative approaches to patient care and research. All International Symposium presentations are scheduled in 50–60 minute session slots, based on availability and at the discretion of the AMPC. Note: This education format is specifically intended for presenters from outside the U.S.

Masters of Surgery Video Presentations

Short, 7-minute, demonstration videos of key surgical procedures performed by otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeons.

Panel Presentations

Interactive, in-depth, state-of-the-art presentations on controversial topics with a variety of viewpoints. All Panel Presentations are scheduled in 50–60 minute session slots, based on availability and at the discretion of the AMPC.

Scientific Oral Presentations

Short , 6-minute, podium presentations focusing on current evidence-based research, surgical procedures, and approaches in the clinical sciences and their application to patient care.

Scientific Poster Presentation

Visual displays detailing the latest advancements in otolaryngology research that allow viewers to appraise and assimilate scientific evidence for improved patient care practices. Original basic science and clinical work related to the broad area of otolaryngology ailments and diseases may be submitted. Poster presenters are only required to be present during the scheduled one hour “Meet the Scientific Poster Authors” session.

Simulation Presentations

Interactive, hands-on sessions designed to enhance clinical or surgical skills through active learning. Each one-hour presentation incorporates simulation tools or techniques as a central component of the education experience. Unlike other education adjuncts, such as “audience response,” the simulation tools are integral to the conception and structure of the presentation. Simulation presentations do not need to focus solely on medical devices; they may also emphasize technique development, decision-making, or communication skills in a simulated environment. Presenters should have expertise in the topic and experience with the simulation platform. The presenters are responsible for securing all needed simulation materials and coordinating with AAO-HNSF staff regarding audiovisual needs and room setup.
