Dr. Kazahaya is the Associate Chief of the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He is also an Associate Professor of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. He is the Medical Director of the Cochlear Implant Program. Director of the Pediatric Skull Base Program, and co-lead surgeon of the Pediatric Thyroid Program at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Kazahaya is a Board Member of the International Society of Otitis Media. He is an International Liaison for the Endocrine Section of the American Head and Neck Society. An active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery (AAO/HNS), participating in the academy’s international lectureship and multiple committees. He is the Chairperson of the Infectious Disease Committee of the AAO/HNS. He is also a member of the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology, the European Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology, American Cochlear Implant Alliance, and the American Thyroid Association. He has been invited to lecture on pediatric cochlear implants, head and neck topics, and pediatric thyroid topics throughout the United States and internationally in Asia, Europe, and North and South America.
