“The vital backbone of Academy involvement is through participation in the diverse Academy committee structure. We call for your participation. There is no better way to advance one's career, network with colleagues, and become involved in a diverse spectrum of Academy educational programs than through the committee structure.

There were over 72 committees with over 1,400 individuals participating – the committee structure thus represents the very lifeblood of the Academy. With this range of opportunities, you will find a committee that will be optimal for you, your interests, and your career. The people you will find and work with and become friends within this committee, will be lifelong career colleagues.

I call on you to utilize the Academy for all that it can be for you. This is your Academy. Join us in our Academy's committee work. Make your voice heard!!"
