Aerin Medical Presentation: Clearing the Air: Managing Common Symptoms of Nasal Airway Obstruction, Congestion, and Rhinorrhea When Medical Therapy Fails
Sunday, October 1
12:00 – 1:00 pm
Nasal airflow can become obstructed due to variations in the anatomy of the septum, inferior turbinates, and nasal valve. Evaluating the contributions of these anatomical structures to a patient’s report of nasal obstruction can be challenging. This panel will explore various methods for assessing these contributors. Furthermore, the panel will discuss a range of treatment options, including the utilization of VivAer® for managing nasal valve collapse, inferior turbinate hypertrophy, and swell bodies. These treatments can be employed either as a comprehensive office-based solution or as a supplement to other procedures aimed at addressing nasal airway obstruction. Another common and bothersome condition that frequently presents to otolaryngologists is chronic rhinitis, often accompanied by symptoms such as rhinorrhea or post-nasal drip. The potential of radiofrequency ablation using RhinAer® to target the posterior nasal nerves in both allergic and non-allergic chronic rhinitis patients will also be explored.

GRAIL Presentation: Multi-Cancer Early Detection: What Otolaryngologists Need to Know
Monday, October 2
10:45 – 11:40 am
Cancer remains the second-leading cause of death in the United States, striking about one in three people in their lifetimes. Today, screening tests in the U.S. are widely available for five cancers, but 71% of cancer deaths come from cancers that have no recommended screening guidelines. Important progress has been made in essential, life-saving single-cancer screenings, but early detection technology still only exists for a few cancers. Instead of looking for cancer one-at-a-time, organ-by-organ, multi-cancer early detection technology has the ability to screen an individual for multiple cancers. These new technologies have the potential to effectively and efficiently impact early cancer detection on a population scale. Learn about how these tools are being used in practice today with otolaryngologists with a real-world case and the patient it impacted.
